We are pleased to report that The Times printed a correction with regards to the article they wrote naming Sun N Sea Holidays as one of the agencies who have been withholding funds owed to customers as a result of the Goldtrail and Kiss Flights failure.
The Correction read:
In the article last week carrying the headline “travellers wait months for holiday refunds”, we incorrectly stated that a traveller had a £39 shortfall in her refund from her travel agent. Sun N Sea has clarified that this is not the case and the full refund was paid to the customer last year in August. Any financial difficulty suffered by the traveller was not caused by any action of Sun N Sea Holidays. A spokeswoman for the company says: “we ensure that clients are not financially at risk when a supplier of any element of the holiday fails”.
We would like to remind customers that EVERY ASPECT of your holiday is covered financially in the event of supplier failure. Elements that aren’t covered by ATOL are covered by our TTA membership or a supplier failure insurance. There is no risk for you even when booking Low Cost Carriers.
If you still have an outstanding ATOL claim for a holiday you booked with us and require further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us. Also we would like to notify everyone that we offer ATOL claim assistance for customers who book new holidays with us even if the holiday you are claiming for was not booked with us.
